Chapter 1365
Chapter 1365:
Andrew took a breath, the weight of his thoughts pressing down on him. “I’m not fun. I’m not the charming gentleman people expect. My reputation isn’t exactly stellar, and I’m not good at getting close to people…”
He listed them off one by one, his mind swirling with all the judgments others had cast upon him over the years. Madisyn, moved by his vulnerability, reached out and pressed a finger gently to his lips. The cool touch of her fingertip quieted him, and he fell silent, feeling the soft comfort of her touch.
Madisyn gazed at him, her voice steady and full of love. “Honey, I love you and accept everything about you. What you deem flaws makes you whole. To me, every part of you is the best.”
She spoke from the heart, her sincerity clear in every word. After she finished, the two of them stood there, locked in a moment of quiet connection, alone on the lawn beside the river.
A gentle breeze brushed past them, filling Andrew’s heart with warmth. To be so completely accepted, flaws and all, to have someone cherish your strengths and love you in spite of your imperfections—Andrew didn’t know how others experienced this, but he was overwhelmed with gratitude.
He couldn’t resist reaching for Madisyn’s hand, lifting it to his lips, and kissing it gently. “Thank you, Madisyn. Hearing that… it makes me really happy.”
Andrew spread out a thin blanket and carefully draped it over Madisyn’s shoulders, then handed her the fruit she liked.
“Eat something first. I’ll finish setting everything up. Just let me know if you need anything.”
“Okay.”
By the time they finished the picnic, Madisyn was completely relaxed, both physically and mentally. Andrew, determined to make her happy, took her to a few…
Other places for fun. Before long, the due date arrived. At the hospital, Elaine stayed by Madisyn’s side, keeping her company and offering support.
Madisyn was far more excited than nervous. Elaine and Andrew, on the other hand, seemed to be far more anxious than she was, and they could barely hide their worry.

Even as labor drew near, Madisyn kept up her routine, exercising and staying active.
Later that afternoon, Andrew was cutting fruit for Madisyn when she got out of bed, pacing back and forth in the room.
Suddenly, she felt a sharp tightening in her belly followed by a warm rush down her legs.
As a doctor, she immediately recognized what was happening.
“Andrew,” she called out softly.
Andrew, sensing the shift in her tone, looked up in alarm. When he saw Madisyn clutching her stomach, the reality hit him, and his face drained of color.
He quickly moved to her side, supporting her with his arm, then pressed the call button to notify the doctor.
As they waited for the doctor to arrive, Andrew, usually calm and composed, was now a bundle of nerves. He squeezed Madisyn’s hand, murmuring comforting words to her as she breathed through the pain. “Madisyn, it’s okay. Don’t be afraid. Just hang on. The doctor will be here soon.”
Andrew had spent weeks preparing for this moment, but now that it was here, all the information he had gathered seemed to slip from his mind. All he could do was hold Madisyn’s hand and reassure her, desperately wanting to shield her from any discomfort.
