Billionaire husband's pursuit for his wife

Theo looked guilty after Nina left.

'Well, it's her fault to begin with. If she doesn't often threaten me with suicide, I wouldn't have ignored that call' he thought to himself.

That's when Chelsea walked inside his cabin as if she owned it. Nina was not given the privilege to enter her husband's office at will. But Chelsea, who is Theo's ex, can. "Theo" Chelsea's excited voice rang cheerfully in Theo's office.

Both Theo and Neel looked at her. Theo smiled at her. His gaze turned gentle and affectionate. Complete contrast to the way he looked at his wife just now.

"Chelsea? What brings you here? How is your ankle?" Theo inquired affectionately. He forgot all about his wife.

Unlike everyone, Chelsea did not sit opposite Theo's desk. Instead, she rounded the desk and kissed his cheek.

Theo frowned, but did not push her away.

"Thanks to you, I am fine" she whispered in his ear.

Theo did not like what she was doing. Neel sensibly left his boss's cabin.

"Chelsea, I already told you not to do anything like this. This will give people the wrong impression about us" Theo reminded her once again.

But Chelsea laughed it off as a joke.

"What is there to give the wrong impression about? We are childhood friends and our families know each other. By the way, I saw Nina while I was coming up. She was not pleased to see me in your company. She glared at me and said some hurtful things. But don't worry, I kept quiet. I know it will create a bad impact on your reputation if I argue with your wife in the lobby" Chelsea lied through her teeth.

Theo became extremely angry when he heard this.

"She is completely out of control" he muttered with displeasure.

The sympathy he felt for her a while ago disappeared in an instance.

Before Chelsea could create any more differences between Theo and Nina, Neel rushed inside.

"Boss, it's Mrs. Agatha Morrison. She woke up. I just received a call from the hospital" Neel shared excitedly.

Theo's face morphed into happiness. While Chelsea froze with shock.

'What? Is that old bitch is awake? But how? I bribed that doctor to keep her in a coma for the rest of her life. Then how did she wake up?' Chelsea panicked.

Theo rushed out of his cabin to visit his mother. He completely forgot about Chelsea.

Chelsea on the other hand immediately dialed Barbara Davis.

"Hello, Ms. Dankworth, what a pleasant surprise" Barbara greeted pleasantly.

Chelsea is not interested in plesantaries.

"Agatha Morrison is awake" Chelsea dropped the bomb which made Barbara pale with shock.

"What? She is awake? On my, will she remember that it's me who pushed her down and not Nina? What if Mr. Morrison finds out about this? He will destroy the Davis family with a snap of his finger. Ms. Dankworth, you have to help us. We did all this for you so that you can get together with Mr. Morrison. Please help us" Barbara begged Chelsea who is already angry.

"Shut up. Theo just left his office. It will take him half an hour to reach the hospital. But your Davis villa is close by. Tell your son to go to the hospital and kill that old witch altogether. That doctor is on my payroll. He will not tell anyone about the cause of her death" Chelsea planned viciously.

Barabar became pale.

"Kill her? But?" she hesitated.

Chelsea gritted her teeth out of anger.

But Chelsea is not worried about Barbara. She is worried that if Agatha returns back home, she will never allow Chelsea to enter the Morrison family. Everything Chelsea did so far to separate Nina and Theo would be in vain. Chelsea cannot let that happen. Chelsea was in love with Theo since they turned sixteen. But Theo only looked at her as a friend and nothing else. When they turned eighteen, Chelsea asked Theo for a date as her birthday gift. Unable to refuse her, he agreed. They dated for a few months before Theo declared that he cannot see her as anything else but her friend. He didn't even kissed her by that point. Chelsea was so disappointed. But she agreed with him, because she doesn't want to lose him completely. So she pretended to be his friend. She intentionally hug him in the public to let people misunderstand that they are a couple. She sent pictures of herself with Theo to Nina to create differences between them.

"No, I will tell Silas" Barbara agreed before she disconnected the call.

In the hospital, Agatha is awake. And it was a mistake. The doctor who used to give her the wrong medicine for an year was suddenly fall sick. So instead of him, one of the nurses gave Agatha the right medicine for a week. Not so surprisingly, Agatha woke up from her induced coma.

"Nurse, can you call my daughter-in-law? Nina is her name. I will tell you her number, can you please ask her to come here?" Agatha requested the nurse.

The nurse is taken aback.

"We already informed your son. He is on his way here" the nurse assured Agatha.

Agatha shook her head. She remembered how Theo disliked his marriage with Nina. She is worried that if he treated Nina badly in this one year when she was bed ridden.

"No, please call my Nina" Agatha insisted.

That's when another nurse walked in with a tray holding some medicines for Agatha.

"Mam, please let your son come here..." the first nurse tried to pursuade Agatha, but the second nurse stopped her.

"Nina? Is that sweet lady your daughter-in-law? She visits you twice a week and spend her entire day here with you. She used to massage you so that you can recover faster. You are lucky to have a daughter-in-law like that" the second nurse praised Nina's dedication. Agatha's eyes became Misty with unshed tears.

"I know my Nina is very sweet. That's why I chose her as my son's wife" she spoke fondly of Nina.

The second nurse administered the medicine she bought into the IV drip.

"Don't worry mam. Even though it's been a week since your daughter-in-law visited you, I am sure she must have caught up with some work. I will give her a call right away. She will be very happy to hear this" the nurse assured Agatha.

Silas who has been waiting for a chance to kill Agatha was frustrated when he noticed that Agatha was constantly accompanied by someone or the other.

To his horror, Theo came to visit his mother at that moment. Silas had no other choice but to run and hide.
