MADELEINE

When I woke up, I didn't feel any different, and I could still sense Lily and our powers. And I could also feel Noah, so I felt as I always do.

"Dammit," I whispered to myself, that my request to the moon goddess didn't work.

I sit up and I am about to start crying, but then Noah comes into the bedroom, and he looks at bit confused.

"What's wrong?" I ask.noveldrama

"Something happened to Mom's grave. And she gone, I need to go to the house." He says, and I get up,

"I want to come," I say and walk quickly into my closet.

When I am done, we walk to the house, and I have a feeling growing inside me, like a small light. We walk inside, and I know for sure something has happened.

Because right there in the arms of Logan is Olivia! It worked! It really worked. Noah stands there, Shocked, frozen in his spot when he sees his Mom. Olivia smiled and walked over to him, touching him gently.

"Son, it's me. I will explain everything, but please believe me when I say this is true." She says softly.

"Mom? How is this possible? I mean, I can feel it is true. But how?" Noah asks.

"Come, let's sit down. I had a feeling you and Rose would come. She, the twins, and Enzo are waiting in the living room. Olivia says, and we follow her in there with Logan.

Noah sits down on a couch, and Olivia hugs me, whispering thank you, in my ear. And I sit down next to Noah.

"Thank you for being here and for listening. I will explain everything, I promise." Olivia says, and we all wait. Only Logan seems calm.

"Someone in this room requested the moon goddess last night. To bring me back. But bringing some ne back has a cost. But Madeleine did care. She was ng to pay that cost without knowing what it would be. The cost would have been her powers or her wolf."

I feel Noah in my mind, not to speak to me, but to check, and I know he feels the same way as I do. Both Lily's and my powers are there.

"But I could not let that happen," Olivia says. And we look at her.

I made a deal with the moon goddess instead of taking something from Madeleine. She has taken my gift, a cost I will happily pay if it means Madeleine doesn't have to. But all this could not have happened without Madeleine's offer last night." Olivia, tell us all.

In the next second, I am hugged hard by the twins, who thank me over and over. Rose has tears in her eyes, but she smiles at me, and I know what she wants to say. When the twins let go, Noah hugged me and kissed me, and I could feel his gratefulness.

NOAH

I am shocked, but I think we all are. At the same time, I am proud and in awe that my mate was ready to give up her gift to get Mom back.

We spent all day together as a family. Uncle Matt, Anna, Kyle, and Kate all came and joined us. Dad had Dr. Kendra come check Mom, and she said Mom was in better health than ever.

"There is something your Mom and I want to talk to you about," Dad says, and we all look at them.

"We need to get Madeleine her

crowning ceremony. And then, Your Mom and want to let you two take over this pack slowly. We have ruled long enough, and we want to have a chance to just be us, without this responsibility. We will still be here to help and guide in any way we can. But the final decisions will be yours." Dad says. And I notice Kyle and Kate don't look surprised, and neither do Uncle Matt or Anna.

"Are you sure, Dad?" I ask.

"Yes, it has been a long time since I've been more sure of anything. You are ready, and you so is your queen The people will love her for what she has done. Kyle offers to be adviser for you and Enzo as well. But he, like me, knows you are all ready. Matt offers to stay as head warrior until you see the need to make a change."

Dad says, and I look at them and nod my head.

"I will always listen to someone as wise as you, Kyle. Your experience is very much appreciated. And uncle Matt, you are the best head warrior I have ever met." I tell them. And they bow their heads.

"It will be an honor to serve under you both," Kyle says, and I bow my head back

in respect.

"But first, we need to send invitations to the ceremony and set everything in motion. I believe everything is planned and ready. So one month from now will be perfect." Mom says.

"Before anything, we need to explain to everyone that you are back, starting with the pack. So I have called everyone to come to the front of the castle tonight." Dad says to Mom, and she nods her head.

"We will all be there, as a family," Madeleine says, and I smile
