Please Help Me!
Arletta Jessica McDowell POV
I squatted on the floor and cold sweat started to break out from my forehead. Shit! The room was not dark, but I could not stand it and felt like I could not breathe. When did the elevator stop, anyway? I wanted to get out of here as soon as possible! Help me!
Ding!
I felt that the elevator stopped by itself, and then the doors opened wide while I was still in a squatting position and almost crying because I was so scared. I could have gotten to Professor Edward's room in a few minutes, but the phobias just came out of nowhere!
I could not pay attention to anything else because the fear was so great inside, and it was killing me. "Help me," I muttered, softly.
"Princess, are you okay?"
I realized a male voice but could not hear the words. Damn! At this moment, Mom would find out about this incident from the security guards at the executive elevator on the third floor. Before I got home, Mom would call and ask many questions.
I tried to act normal, but I could not. "It looks like Princess is sick. We should take her to the emergency room immediately."
Another male voice was heard, and I could only surrender, not being able to stand normally. I heard other voices, but they did not lessen the fear. If I had known it was going to be like this, I would have used the stairs instead! "I am scared," I said, trembling.
I closed my eyes to reduce the fear that arose, but that action was in vain. I felt the elevator stop moving, and then there was a sound from inside, and the doors opened.
Oh, God... please help me up, so that Mom did not hear the news about her daughter in such a sad state. I could only pray inwardly.
"Princess, are you okay? Can you walk?" I heard someone ask, but I still could not answer.
Relax, Lizzy. Do not let everyone watch you, especially since you were still in a public hospital where everyone could watch you.
I struggled to stand up, as fear still dominated. Fortunately, someone was holding my right forearm, so I did not fall and could stay standing. Outside the elevator, there were already several people and a wheelchair. Was it prepared for me? "I have a headache." I spontaneously answered that person's question, because it was the only answer that suited my situation.
"Please sit here, Princess." A woman wearing a nurse's uniform came forward, pushing a wheelchair.

I tried to walk and was lucky that the person who had been holding my forearm was still the same. I was finally able to get out of the elevator and sit in the wheelchair that had been provided. I felt something on my lap, and when I looked, it was a brown envelope containing three doctor's letters.
I could only look down, unable to see people's faces. In all the time I had been visiting the hospital, this was the first time something like this had happened. Usually, everything was fine, and no incidents embarrassed me. "Princess, I will take you to the emergency room." The same woman told me, and I just nodded.
I was not sure I could answer people at this point, at least until the fear had worn off completely. The wheelchair started running, and in less than an hour, the hospital staff would definitely contact Mom. At that point, she would have panicked a lot and insisted on talking to me.

What I went through was humiliating, but it was too late to regret it. I felt empty and useless. I hoped Mom did not call me a few minutes later so I could calm down.
I felt the wheelchair turn a corner and enter a room. There was already a doctor and two nurses there. I knew that this was not an ordinary emergency room because usually the rooms for ordinary patients and family members of The Queen of The Hidden Dragon were deliberately separated so as not to mix. Honestly, it was only now that I entered this place and I hoped I would not have to linger too long.
"Good afternoon, Princess. I heard you were sick?" Doctor Joshua asked with a worried look.
I often meet Doctor Joshua when I go to the hospital. He was quite handsome despite being in his forties. Maybe he was approaching fifty, but he looked like he was in his thirties, and I was sure he must have been even more handsome when he was younger.
"Yes, Doc. I feel weak." I answered Doctor Joshua's question and again had to lie so that when Mom got the report, she would hear that it was all due to physical health alone.
"Did Princess eat before coming here?" Doctor Joshua asked in more detail while observing my face.
"I already ate, Doc," I answered honestly because I had eaten lunch before going to the hospital.
"I would like to check your blood pressure first, Princess."
"Okay, Doc."
Hopefully, my blood pressure was low, supporting the claim that I was feeling weak. I held out my left arm to the doctor, and he took the tensimeter and attached it to my upper arm. Once that was done, Doctor Joshua pressed the object on the device, so that the upper arm felt a pressure that became tighter and tighter.
Doctor Joshua's face was serious, but he had not said anything yet, and I could only wait for the examination results.
"Your blood pressure is low, sixty to eighty. You should carry snacks in her bag so you can eat them right away when you feel weak. I will give the medical prescription, Princess."
Thank God! I was so happy to hear Doctor Joshua's explanation. If Mom had heard this report, then she would have been even more nagging to remind me to eat more. "Thank you, Doc."
"You are welcome."
I waited for Doctor Joshua to write and said nothing. The smell of medicine wafted through the room, which was unsurprising to me since this was a hospital. It was good that I had not experienced any horrific events while coming here. "Here is the medical prescription, Princess."
I was stunned and then returned my attention to Doctor Joshua. I took the piece of paper he gave me. "Thank you, Doc. Can I go straight to work after this?"
Yeah, I had to go to Professor Edward, but I did not want to use the elevator this time because the phobias might come back. I needed to be accompanied by one or two people because I could do much by myself right now. All the old problems came about because of Dad!
"Princess should eat something and take vitamins first. If you have recovered her strength, then you can do some activities."
I was silent for a moment, then looked at the nurse in the room. "Can you help me to-"
