Chapter 42: Captivated
Marisa, scared and uneasy, tried to understand what was happening. Alejandro’s possessive words and actions made her feel stuck in a nightmare. The once-holy place now felt like a battlefield where Marisa confronted the harsh reality of her choices.
As Alejandro continued making unwanted advances, Marisa gathered courage to speak up. “Alejandro, this isn’t what I want. Please, let me go,” she begged, her voice shaky with fear and defiance. The empty church echoed her plea eerily.
Alejandro, seeming unbothered, held onto her tighter, acting confident and menacing. “You don’t get it, Marisa. You belong to me, and I always get what’s mine,” he declared with a creepy certainty, his fingers continuing their unwanted exploration beneath her gown.
Desperate to escape, Marisa pushed away from Alejandro, creating a small but crucial distance. Her eyes, filled with fear and determination, locked onto his, silently telling him she wouldn’t give in.
The church, once peaceful, witnessed this disturbing confrontation. Marisa, fueled by inner strength, seized the chance to break free. With a burst of speed, she sprinted towards the exit, her footsteps echoing the tension in the empty church.
As she neared the door, Alejandro’s voice echoed again. “Stop right there, sweetheart! You’re not allowed to go out!” The commanding tone froze Marisa, frustration mixing with fear in her eyes.
Alejandro approached with deliberate steps, casting a dark shadow over the deserted church. Marisa, remained on her spot, prepared for whatever sinister intentions awaited her. The air hung heavy with uncertainty, and the once-holy space now felt creepy and scary.
In this vulnerable moment, Marisa’s thoughts raced, weighing her options and grappling with the consequences of her past choices. As Marisa remained transfixed on her spot, Alejandro swiftly closed the distance between them.
He caught up with her and, with a calculated move, turned her around to face him. His expression, a sinister smirk playing on his lips, conveyed a sense of malevolence that intensified the eerie atmosphere in the desolate church.
“Running away, sweetheart? You can’t escape me,” Alejandro taunted, his voice dripping with a disturbing mix of arrogance and possession. Marisa, now facing him, felt a surge of anxiety as his arm snaked around her waist, pulling her closer to him with an unsettling sense of control.
Her heart began to race, the rhythmic beats echoing in her ears as fear and panic gripped her. “Alejandro, please, let me go,” Marisa pleaded, her voice shaky and desperate. The once-holy space absorbed her plea, amplifying the tense exchange between them.
Alejandro’s smirk widened at her plea, and he casually used his hand to sweep a strand of hair off her face, tucking it behind her ear with a deceptive gentleness. The unsettling contrast between his actions and the sinister aura he exuded left Marisa unnerved.
“You think you can just walk away? You belong to no one but me,” Alejandro asserted, his tone possessive and unyielding. Marisa, feeling a rising sense of panic, struggled to free herself from his grip, but Alejandro’s strength proved overpowering.
As she wrestled against his hold, Alejandro maintained his control, his grip unyielding. “You’re mine, Marisa. Get used to it,” he declared with an air of dominance, and the hollowness of the church echoed his unsettling proclamation.
“Please, Alejandro, just let me go,” Marisa pleaded, her eyes pleading for mercy as she continued to struggle against his hold.
“Why did you even come to this church?” Alejandro questioned, his tone cold and demanding.
Nervously, Marisa replied, “I just came to pray, Alejandro. Please, I didn’t mean to cause any trouble.”
Alejandro smirked, a sinister amusement playing on his face as he noticed her unease. “You’re lying, Marisa,” he stated with certainty, his voice cutting through the strained air.
“You’re lying,” Alejandro repeated, his gaze unwavering. “You came here because you feel guilty, don’t you? Guilty for the death of your boyfriend, Dave, or whatever his name is.”
At the mention of Dave’s name, Marisa’s countenance suddenly changed. The pain and guilt etched on her face were impossible to conceal.
Alejandro, reveling in her discomfort, continued, “I know you feel responsible for Dave’s death. If only you had listened to my warning and stayed away from him, he’d still be alive.”
Marisa, infuriated by Alejandro’s accusatory words, snapped, “You have no right to come into my life and just kill the person I love! You’re an animal for killing Dave!”
Alejandro, unmoved by her anger, maintained his smirk. “You should have listened, Marisa. Now you’re mine, and there’s no escaping it,” he declared, the echo of his chilling words lingering in the desolate church.
Marisa, a mix of fear and anger in her eyes, retorted with defiance, “I won’t let you control my life, Alejandro. You can’t just take away someone I care about and expect me to submit to you.”
Alejandro, undeterred, tightened his grip on her and taunted, “You have no choice, Marisa. You’re bound to me, whether you like it or not.”
As Marisa struggled against his hold, Alejandro’s cruel smirk persisted. “You think you can resist? You’re just a pawn in this game, and I always get what I want,” he declared, his voice dripping with sinister satisfaction.
Marisa, fueled by a surge of determination, shot back, “You’re wrong, Alejandro. I won’t let you dictate my life. I won’t let Dave’s death be in vain.”
Alejandro, amused by her defiance, chuckled darkly. “You’re feisty, Marisa. I like that. But you need to understand – I decide your fate now.”
With an unsettling calmness, Alejandro continued, “You’re here because you’re haunted by guilt. Every time you close your eyes, you see Dave’s face, and you know deep down that it’s your fault.”
Marisa’s eyes welled with a mixture of sorrow and anger. “You don’t know anything about me or my feelings,” she spat back.
Alejandro, unyielding, pressed on, “I know enough, Marisa. I know you regret not heeding my warning. But it’s too late. Dave is gone, and you’re mine.”
Marisa became fueled by a surge of defiance, and she continued to struggle against Alejandro’s unyielding grip. “Let me go, Alejandro! I won’t let you control me!” she exclaimed, her voice trembling with a mix of fear and determination.
Ignoring her pleas, Alejandro pulled her even closer, his forceful embrace leaving Marisa feeling trapped. In a sudden and aggressive move, he kissed her, his lips pressing forcefully against hers.
Groaning in protest, Marisa tried to break free from the unwanted kiss. “Stop it, Alejandro! I won’t let you do this!” she protested, her words muffled by the force of his advance.
Undeterred, Alejandro persisted, his kisses growing more insistent. Marisa, in a desperate attempt to fend him off, bit down on his lips, causing him to break the kiss with a pained expression.
Marisa, now freed from the forceful kiss, didn’t hesitate. She slapped Alejandro hard across the face, the sound echoing in the empty church. “Don’t you dare touch me like that! I won’t be your pawn,” she spat, her eyes blazing with anger and defiance.Content provided by NôvelDrama.Org.
Alejandro, nursing the sting of the slap, chuckled darkly. “Feisty and defiant. I like it. You are giving me more reasons to like you more, Marisa,” he sneered, the menacing smirk still etched across his face.
Marisa, undeterred by Alejandro’s ominous approval, shot back with a fiery determination, “Your liking means nothing to me. I won’t let you make me into something I’m not.”
Alejandro, still smirking, traced a finger along the side of her face, a chilling gesture that sent shivers down Marisa’s spine. “You can’t escape what’s destined, Marisa. You’re mine, and no amount of resistance will change that.”
Marisa, fueled by a renewed surge of defiance, retorted, “I don’t believe in your twisted version of destiny. I make my own choices, and I won’t let you dictate my life.”
In response, Alejandro tightened his grip on her once again, his eyes narrowing with a sinister gleam. “Stubborn and rebellious. But that won’t change anything. You’re bound to me, and you’ll learn to accept it.”
Marisa, her resolve unbroken, continued to resist. “I’ll never accept it. I won’t let you control my life or my choices,” she asserted, her voice defiant despite the overwhelming sense of dread.
Alejandro, with a dark chuckle, leaned in close, his lips brushing against her ear. “We’ll see about that, Marisa. Resistance only makes the eventual surrender more satisfying.”
As Alejandro continued to assert his dominance, Marisa’s protests grew louder. “Get the fuck off me, you maniac! Let me go!” she screamed, her voice filled with desperation.
Ignoring her pleas, Alejandro lifted Marisa effortlessly off the ground, slinging her over his shoulder like a sack of potatoes. Her kicks and punches landed on his back, but he remained unfazed as he carried her out of the church.
“Stop it! Drop me!” Marisa yelled, her strikes becoming more frantic as she hoped to inflict enough pain to make him release his grip.
Undeterred, Alejandro continued his march toward a sleek black Ferrari parked outside, completely impervious to her screams and the futile assault on his back.
Upon reaching the car, Alejandro was met by six of his men, standing in a calculated formation. He addressed them with a cold authority, “Tell Alexandro I’m heading back to the villa. Ensure Salvador Morello is brought to me, dead or alive.”
The men bowed in compliance, and shivers ran down Marisa’s spine as she heard Alejandro’s ominous instructions to his henchmen.
“Drop me, you monster!” Marisa screamed once more, but Alejandro paid no heed. Instead, he placed her in the backseat of the Ferrari, slamming the door shut.
“Unlock the door! Let me go!” Marisa demanded, rattling the door in vain realization that she was trapped.
Alejandro, undisturbed by her protests, collected the car key from one of his men and assumed the driver’s seat. “You’re coming with me to the villa, Marisa. Get used to it. You’ll be staying with me forever,” he declared, a sinister gleam in his eyes.
As the engine roared to life, Marisa’s pleas echoed in the confined space of the car. “Please, Alejandro, let me go! Unlock the door! Let me out of here!”
Ignoring her, Alejandro adjusted the rearview mirror with a cold smile. “You’re mine now, Marisa,” he stated before stepping on the accelerator, the Ferrari zooming away, leaving the desolate church behind and propelling Marisa into a perilous journey with no clear escape.
