A marriage deal with billionaire stone (Ivy and Silas)

Chapter 213

By the time Ivy got home, all of her anger had melted into exhaustion. The faint smell of dung still clung to her clothes as she stepped inside.

"Hey, Ivy, I found a great idea!" Theresa exclaimed the moment Ivy walked through the door.

"What's that?" Ivy asked, trying not to let her fatigue show.

If Theresa noticed, she didn't acknowledge it, she just continued speaking. "I thought of the perfect rebound for me. I could organize a seminar on stress or anger at your company. We could collaborate."

Ivy blinked, confused. "I don't understand."

Theresa stepped closer, excitement shimmering in her eyes. "We can work together. I'll host the seminar at your office. We can start tomorrow, what do you think?"

Ivy's thoughts drifted to the mess caused by Rosie, and the awful scent hit her again. "My company is unavailable at the moment." Then she told Theresa about

the dung.

"Oh my goodness!" Theresa exclaimed, her eyes wide with concern. "Are you okay?"

"Yes," Ivy nodded. "A little," she admitted.

"I'm sorry," Theresa said gently, biting her lip. "I... already made announcements about it being tomorrow..."

Ivy scratched her temper, trying her hardest not to show her discomfort. "Oh."

Theresa reached out for her hand. "I'm sorry, but it's fine I can think of something else."

Despite the smile on Theresa's face, Ivy could see the disappointment in her eyes.

"We'll figure something out," Ivy said quickly. Then an idea hit her. "Wait, I've got i

it!"

Theresa's brow furrowed. "What is it?"

"My brother wants to do a photoshoot to promote the restaurant. You could hosty

seminar there,

Theresa tilted her head and paused. "Not bad," she said after a moment. "I think that could work."

"Great," Ivy said. "I'll call Cole. What time tomorrow?"

"Ten is fine," Theresa replied just as her phone started ringing.

"Alright then," Ivy said, excusing herself.

I'll t

take pictures. What do you think?"

She headed upstairs, her stomach tightening at the thought of Silas, and then her conversation with Thomas. Pulling out her phone, she texted Cole about the new arrangement just as she reached her room.

"Baby," she called softly, pushing the door open.

"Yes, love," Silas replied in a low voice.

He was still seated on the bed, the bandages ugly and long on his arms. Ivy's anger fluttered in her chest, but she pushed it down and perched at the edge of the bed.

"How are you feeling?" she asked, leaning over to kiss him.

"Physically or emotionally?"

Her anger dissolved into tenderness. "Both."

He sighed. "Sad, Down. Heartbroken. Pissed."

"Oh, baby,” she murmured, settling beside him. "I'm

Silas wrapped an arm around her. "It's okay. I called Bailey

Island Nova. She came earlier." Then he told her everything.

As he spoke, Ivy's emotions shifted from sadness

pain, before finally settling into quiet sympathy.

“That's just... crazy,” she said, kissing softly. "I'm s sorry, baby.”

His lips lingered on hers. "Thanks, baby."

Ivy deepened the kiss, her tongue brushing his, offering comfort and seeking companionship.

"This feels so good," he whispered against her lips, pressing his hardness towards her.

Her heart fluttered as her hand brushed over his arousal. Silas cupped her butt, lifting her to his thighs. She grinded lightly against him, her body already warming with desire.

But he winced, hissing in pain.

"Oh, I'm sorry, baby!" she said, pulling back quickly.

"It's okay," he murmured. "Kiss me."

She leaned in again, but when he cried out, she jumped away, guilt swirling inside her. "I didn't know... I'm so sorry."

Silas adjusted on the bed with a soft grunt. "It's fine. Maybe we could just lie down..."

She chuckled, her eyes drifting to the arousal. "Are you sure?"

He chuckled too, reaching out for her butt again. "Yes," he murmured, trailing kisses along her neck.

Ivy closed her eyes, relaxing to his lips. She could feel the tension leaving his body, and she knew just what he needed.

She stood and gave him a mischievous look. "I've got just the thing fory you."

Silas's eyes widened. "Okay..."

She chuckled again as she got down on her knees. Her fingers danced teasingly around his waistband.

He gasped.

His breathing changed, and it gave her the courage to continue.

own desires, making her even wetter.

Her mouth watered as she pulled him free. Silas's forehead creased, his hands

sliding into her hair as she lowered her mouth onto him.

"Oh." It was small, helpless as he held onto her like his life depended on it.

Ivy stroked his dick with her tongue, tasting his secretion. She moved up and down, her mouth dominating him.

"Ivy... you... ah-"

Thomas's stomach twisted as the realization hit. He knew what was in those bags without looking. He swallowed hard. "You can't have that here."

The guard tilted his head. "Why not? This is how we deliver it."

"Yes," Thomas said slowly, carefully. "To Uncle Mike. But he's not here, and I don't know how to handle it."

The guard huffed. "Not my problem." Then he turned to the door. "I'll be back for payment. Good day," he added and left.

"You can't-"

The door slammed shut, cutting him off. Thomas's jaw clenched.

He eyed the bags suspiciously, unsure what to do.

This was the part of the club business he had no experience with. He had never watched Uncle Mike handle this; he had always been nonchalantly about the whole thing.

He let out a long sigh. Maybe if he ignored it, he wouldn't have to deal with it.

But what if someone walked in? Or worse, Bailey?

The thought sent a jolt of fear through him, and he quickly reached it. But then he stopped, curiosity surging despite the fear.

And he let it lead him.

He unzipped one bag and slowly opened it. The faint scent of chemicals hit his nose before he smelt the coffee grounds.

There were dozens of tuna cans, small, clean, and unopened. But Thomas wasn't fooled, he knew if he opened one can, he would probably see another layer of packaging, maybe two, but underneath that would be a pouch of fine white powder.

He shook his head, deciding he had seen enough. Just as he was placing the can back into the bag, the door burst open again, and he flinched.

Ivy rushed in, her eyes blazing with anger. Chen followed behind her, his face wrinkled with worry.

"We need to talk," she said, moving closer, her tone matching her expression. "She just barged in, sir," Chen said, his voice wobbling. "I'm sorry." Thomas ignored their statement as he quickly dropped the can in the bag. Ivy saw

the rest and her brow creased. Fear raced inside him as he zipped it fast and slid both bags under his table.

He cleared his throat to ease out his nerves then turned to Chen. "Thank you, Chen. I'll take it from here."

"I apologize again, sir," Chen said with bow and left.

Once they were alone, Ivy folded her arms. "Since when did you start feeding

cats?"

His heart jumped, but he masked it. "None of your business," he said sharply. "Why are you here?"

She dropped her hand, her lips curling. "Why did you hit Silas?"

He sat down. "Is that why you're here?"

Her eyes widened. "You're not that important, hope you know."

He chuckled. "I'm not important, yet here you are."

Her anger flared, and she slammed her fist on his table. "Your problems are not

enough reason to hurt others! That man had done too much for you to disrespect

him."

anger. "I don't care what you're going through, but it doesn't give you Silas has done everything for you, taken care of the things you should be doing as the big brother, yet you pay him back with pain!"

Her words got to him, sharp and deep. Before he could control himself, he shot to

his feet, anger crashing over him. "What the fuck do you or Silas, or the rest of the family, know about sacrifice?"

“He married a stranger for you!" she fired back. "He was ready to do so much

more!"

"He didn't do it for me!" Thomas shouted, and Ivy gasped. He didn't care, it was

too late to hold back now. "Everything he did was for himself. Look at you, he's happy with you. And I'm still stuck at square one."

The shock on Ivy's face only lasted a second before anger took over again. "Sorry you're jealous of your brother's happiness."

"Jealous?" he scoffed. "There's nothing he has that I want."

"But you just admitted it. It's not Silas's fault you married a deranged woman."

He gasped. "How dare you!"

"Oh, you know it's true, Thomas. Rosie's a nightmare. And Silas is not the villain

here."

His anger boiled over. "Get out of my office!"

"Or what? You'll hit me too?" she barked, her eyes gleaming with defiance.

He growled, marched to the door, and flung it open. "Get the fuck out!" he

shouted, not caring that Uncle Mike's staff could hear him.

"This is a warning, Thomas," Ivy said coldly, moving to him. "Next time you mess with him, we will not be talking.".

Her tone chilled him for a split second, but he recovered quickly. "He's my brother,

Thomas slammed the door behind her, stormed to the table, and flipped it

violently, pain shooting through his sore knuckles.

"Ah! Fuck!" he screamed, just as his phone rang.

He picked it up, his eyes hovering the mess on the floor. "Yes?" His voice was

harsh.
