A Girl’s Diary

Chapter 9 - Let’s Partaaay... Or Not!

Chapter 9 - Let’s Partaaay... Or Not!

I rushed into my training room to find Ron sitting there. He really should learn not to be so punctual! I

smiled sheepishly at him and then sat down. "Next time I'll tell you an earlier time than the real practice

so when you're late, you're actually on time." What? We started training and this time, I felt myself

getting the hang of it. When training was over, I was super tired. Ron made me repeat the same pieces

over and over, saying there was something not quite right. To me, it was perfect! But he was the

professional for a reason. A college student who was studying music. That seemed pretty much

devoted to me.

"There was something I needed to ask you." He said as we started walking down the corridor. Then he

glanced to his right and tilted his head, stopping completely. "Umm..." What was he looking at? I tried to

get a glimpse but he pushed me forward. "You know the boys, the band. They were..." His voice trailed

again while he furrowed his brows. Okay, I may have an idea what was going on. I heard some

whispers and now I was sure what it was.

"Guys, you can come out now." I chuckled the moment they came out of hiding. Tumbling and falling on

top of each other.

Benjamin had a smile on his face, Adrien looked flush, Malcom cursed as he was at the bottom of the

bundle and Xander well he was nowhere in sight. When they finally stood, Xander came out of the

elevator.

"Cinnamon, missed me?" Xander winked the moment he got out. I was wondering how many seconds

it would take him to flirt. Didn't even take a second, that's a new record even for Xander.

"Do I even want to know what this is about?" I asked Ron. He shrugged at looked at them, asking

silently for help. "So?" I turned to the boys.

"Yes. Of course, you do." Xander replied.

"We're having a party." Benjamin and Adrien said at the same second. I titled my head in a quizzical

way. They all started talking at once, I didn't even understand a thing. The only things I could make out

were

"It'll be so much fun." Benjamin

"You'll miss something big if you don't come" Malcom

"Please please Cinnamon" Adrien

"I'll keep you company" Xander

"Can only one person talk?" I chuckled. They started talking together again, except for Ron who was

laughing his ass out. "Can that one person be a sane one? Ron?" He nodded calming his laughter.

"So what they're trying to say is that they are having a party and they want you there." He said simply.

"That's it?" They all nodded. "Okay." I smiled, their faces lit up and soon enough, I was engulfed in a

bear hug. Or should I say bears! These guys make the term drama kings become a thing. I spent some

time with them, we had so much fun. Well at least until Aurora came looking for me. When she asked

about the new album, I assured her that I was just enhancing it, I told her it was almost finished. What a

big fat lie!

That night, I was so tempted to write at least one song. But what I came up with was pretty much

rubbish. So I decided to get some sleep before I had to go to school. I slept like a baby but woke up like

a zombie. Nothing a good cup of coffee can't fix!

Today, I went to school early. The one day, I wanted to skip seeing everyone, I go to school early. FML!

I looked around for Sky and she was nowhere to be found. She didn't even reply to my texts so I

decided to call her during lunch break. I just needed to make sure she had no plans for today. The day

went by as good as it could. We had to submit our projects on Monday. I hope she finished it and Nôvel(D)ra/ma.Org exclusive © material.

wouldn't be working on it today. Louis kept annoying the hell out of me in our English class. He sat right

behind me and kept trying to talk. I, on the other hand, of course, tuned him out of my life.

When lunch break finally came, I texted Skyler again. She texted me saying she was in the cafeteria

already. So I guess that was where I was heading, just before the blond cheerleader, Alice, stopped

me.

"You don't think you have a chance with my man." She spat her words. Ooh, so this was about her

crush. Okay, I could play a little with her. I was bored anyway.

"Which one exactly? Because I'm pretty sure you slept your way through everyone even the janitor." I

was going to say worse but I didn't want to step down her level.

"At least boys want me, unlike you. Louis wants to date me, understood? If I see you near him, I'll make

your life hell."

"Yeah, she will." Her minion agreed and they both left. What a bunch of clichés! If I didn't hate Louis, I'd

date him just to provoke her... no, I won't. I wouldn't hurt a guy just because of her, even if he was an

asshole like Louis.

I made my way to the cafeteria, bought food that looked edible enough and began searching for Sky.

When I spotted her, I was reluctant to go. She was sitting with a big group of people. Finally, I decided

to go.

"Everyone, this is the infamous Elena." Sky introduced me to everyone. They all introduced

themselves, I took a seat then they continued their chatter. The bell rang and mostly everyone left.

Except for Sky, Jason, a girl named Cecilia but wanted everyone to call her Cicily or Cici and me.

"So, Sky. Do you have any plans for today?" I asked her.

"I was going to the mall with Cici. Maybe you should join us." She replied.

"No, I was thinking we could have a sleepover and maybe a small party since my parents are out of

town."

"Yes!" She said excitedly. "How small is this party exactly?" She asked.

"Very," I replied.

"Count me in," Jason said. I almost forgot he was still here.

"Okay, Cici, you coming?" I asked her to be polite. I didn't know the girl.

"Sure." She replied

"Can I invite Louis?" Sky asked. Is she sick? I shook my head. "He's been asking me questions about

you. Maybe he likes you, he could be charming and maybe you'll like him too."

"You know Sky, he actually brings me so much joy." I stopped to see her reaction. She was staring at

me too much, her eyes could have popped out. "As soon as he leaves the room." I continued. Sky

blinked while Cici and Jason laughed so hard, it was contagious. "Plus, he's only acting like that

because he put one and one together and figured out who my family is." Sky's mouth formed an O.

"Are you like a celebrity?" Cici asked. She had no idea how true her words were.

"No, I'm not," I answered.

"Then?" She pressed on.

"Drop it, Cicily," Jason said.

"No, it's fine. She'll figure it out when she comes over." I chuckled. "My family owns a modelling agency,

more like dad and my mom is a famous designer." I shrugged.

"Her mom is Camella Whitte, can you believe it." Sky squealed. "I met her IRL and she was so cool!"

"Wow! Don't worry, I won't go tell everyone." Cici assured and I felt like she would be a good friend.

"Thanks." I smiled.

"Now tell me, how can it be a party with four people," Sky asked.

"Six." I corrected. We can't forget I was technically babysitting the troublemakers.

"Yeah right, Loca and Ian will be there. Okay, I guess we'll have a party of six people." He shrugged.

We spent the rest of the break making stupid jokes and laughing at them until we had to leave.

When classes ended, Sky texted saying she was waiting in the parking lot. I just needed to grab a book

from my locker and then we were ready to go.

I opened my locker, there was some folded paper. Did wanted to write the album make me really made

me put notes in there? Or was it Louis still annoying me? I unfolded it and my whole world stopped.

'You'll pay for what you did.'
